Can someone post a photo of my 2-year old son on facebook without my consent? - soleil_0608 - 11-09-2012 08:01 PM can i report it if my brother in law (who i am not in good terms with) takes a photo of my child and posts it on hisfacebook account? can i have it taken down? isn't it a violation if i didn't give my p ermission to 1. have my child's photo taken 2. to have it put up on his page. thanks - Brusk Lee - 11-09-2012 08:10 PM Yes he can, as long as they aren't using it lewdly or making any profit off it. - Amber - 11-09-2012 08:10 PM Even in the days of facebook, it is illegal to post a photo of ANYONE in any sort of print (ie a newspaper, OR the internet) without their permission, or in the case of a minor, the permission of the guardian. You can ask him to remove it, and if he fails to do so, you can get a court order forcing him to remove it. |
