I'm 15 and he's 18. He lives in America and I'm from Britain and I want to send a relationship request to him on Facebook, but will people say it's illegal?
(Bearing in mind that the legal age to have a relationship in the UK with someone older is 16+ and in America it's 18+, but because it's cyber, does it matter?)

No it isn't illegal, it's only illegal if he forces you into something you don't want to do and he is older than you.

It's technically only illegal if you guys have sex since your a minor, but cyber relationship? really for all you know hes 40 in his underwear everytime he talks to you

However, the only thing I find weird is that you're dating someone from America? And it's a little strange he's 18 and you're 15. Just a warning, maybe find someone your own age.
