will it just show in updates.
Suppose if I ask a question, will it just show in updates or each and every friend I added will get notifications that I asked a question?

It will just show up in their news feed, you can ask certain friends to answer it and it will send them a notification.

yes, u can ask question and you can make your friends to notify it. After typing your question simply post it know at bottom right corner you can see a button 'ask Friend' by clicking on it you can ask a friend the it will notify your friend

sure you can send the notification to your friends.
Just click on "ask friends" before posting your question.
