I get notifications on facebook every time one of my fb friends posts something. Can I change something in my settings to stop this?

Yes i used to get this. If you go onto the close friends in the account settings area, you can take people off and then it will stop notifying you when your friend does something

yes, u can go to their wall/timeline and click unsubscribe.
