Let's say a guy has a girlfriend. On Facebook, one of his female friends write a post wishing him happy birthday and ends it with "xxx", which is three kisses, so is that appropriate if he has a gf and can see it?
BTW, what name is "Barr" a simplification of? Is it a female name?

Ask your bf about it and see his reaction. Just be upfront about who that girl is and maybe you can find the solution with him instead of us because we dont know him (or the girl who posted the message)
