Is it a common thing for a girl to delete her facebook for her boyfriend? - yahoo - 11-09-2012 08:23 PM

If a girl has a facebook and her new boyfriend doesn't...is it normal for him to not want her to have one..especially if there are other guys she is friends with on facebook that like her?

Just curious...any other info would be appreciated!

If she don't like the boyfriend, yes

Its normal for the guy to feel slighly nervious about the guys but for him to actualy ask her to delete it is rediculose and controlling, if your bf did this, he doesnt trust you and is being controlling

No. You are your own person who is capable of making decisions for yourself. The bf is his own person who is also capable of making decisions for HIMSELF. Don't do it if you don't want to and if you feel like your are going to resent him for it. Tell him to join instead. Plus, you really don't want a jealous bf. They will start controlling everything you do from here on out.

In my personal opinion, that's a little controlling. If you love him and everything, I understand, but if you liked your facebook you should've kept it if you wanted it. But I think you can open your account back up by logging on and all that, haha. But, that's just me.

Hope I helped Smile

Common to delete a fb page just because of someone? I don't think so.

Sounds a little obsessive, or perhaps overprotective.
Trust is a big part of a relationship. She shouldn't need to delete her page. The guy shouldn't need to be jealous, he's obviously lucky to get the girl if so many others like her and that's all that really matters.
The more he worries about other guys, the further he'll push the girl away.
