in order to join a college network, you need the email, without it, facebook won't let you join the network sorry =[

i don't think that you can.... to keep the perverts out but your college will hook you up with an email long before the semester starts... and while you can get acquainted and meet people on facebook you won't make your real friends until the school year starts

Maybe you could ask the college to give you an email account since you just got admitted. I have noticed a few of my relatives who are seniors in high school have recently joined the college networks for the schools they will be attending.
