It's a hashtag on twitter (#floodzombie) and I'm confused at to wtf it is, obviously it's to do with the QLD floods and etc. but what is it supposed to be?

Are you sure it's not a flood zombie from the popular Halo franchise. In Halo the flood had the ability to animate corpses making flood zombies. These always made up the main antagonists during the late stages of the games with the exception of Halo Reach.

a bit of light humour...
basically - as the clean up gets under way - there is lots of advice on how to stay "clean" and not get a nasty infection from the dirty water... but even still - lots of people are getting minor scraps and cuts and blisters... once you're infected by the flood waters - that's it... you're gone... you are now a floodzombie and need your head cut off...
