I am a certified nurse assistant in the state of Michigan. i wanted to start my own business. do you have any ideas on how i could be more creative with a business that caters to the elderly.

You can innovate and use technology to make your company stand out. If you are going to be a home health aide for relatively active seniors, offer services with the internet. Show them (or do it for them) how to interact with their kids and grand kids through facebook. Setup webcams so that you and relatives can keep tabs on the seniors while they are alone.

Nursing assistant is a great field. There's unlimited things you can do when it involves the elderly.
