I paid $50 for a mother's day basket with several different flowers and when it arrived it was only a few carnations and a coupld of roses. When called them they would not do anyting about it. What can I do to le them know I was not happy their srevice?

There's many different ways you could go about this -

One way you could is go to a local newspaper with a picture of the floral basket and ask them to do a piece on the florists saying how their service was, how they treated you and how disappointed you were with the service?

Another way is by e-mail. E-mail the florists a picture of the floral basket along with a picture of how you would expect the basket to look. Express how much you are disappointed, and will not be using their services again.

Or do it the old fashioned way and write a letter to the manager. Don't forget to add in how much the basket was, how you and your mother were incredibly upset, and who you talked too.

here is what I do.

I would go to Yelp.com search for the florist and leave a terrible review. DO that same thing on Google Maps. Search for their business on google maps, click on the red dot, and there should be a page that pops up with a place for reviews.

Repeat this process on Facebook.

This is the best way to get a response out of them. Having bad reviews causes their business to rank lower in the search engines, and also gives warning to others.

Trust me, once they see the review they will do whatever it takes to get it removed, if they are smart.

Then I would send a letter to the manager letting them know that you have left the reviews.

You could send them flowers. Maybe with a card that says "Sorry for your loss... of business."
