For privacy reasons, and to protect my reputation, I have blocked someone on Twitter. My brother says that blocking someone on there is not just a private act--he says that the person I blocked will receive a notification saying that I...(insert username) blocked them. But that can't be true, because that's not how Facebook works...
And as a second question, are you notified if someone favorites one of your tweets?
So is that how it is or what?

No They are Not Notified when they are blocked and keep in mind facebook and twitter are two different social networking sites and No you are not notified when someone favorites your tweet
