This guy has been posting a bunch of inappropriate things on his Facebook. And I can't unfriend him because he's the boyfriend of a good friend of mine. So I'd love a way to block his posts without unfriending him. Is that even possible?

sure, just add him to your acquaintances list

on the home wall.(not the guys timeline) roll around over the post in the top right area and you will see an arrow. Click on the arrow and then click "Unsuscribe from status updates by so-and-so"
