I noticed 2 people I know well are not my friends anymore, I do suspect them of deleting me because I am not too close with them, but still, I knew this one person for two years at college seeing them everyday and having many jokes and laughs, now what would you think of someone who decides that your no longer cool enough for them? Is it possible facebook did this?

Facebook wouldnt do this. They probably deactivated their account or perhaps deleted you.

Facebook is not deleting friends may be your friend's accounts are getting disabled or may be they are deactivating their account.
