How does Twitter work? - Basketball - 11-09-2012 08:43 PM

I mean, whats retweeting?
I want to make one so I made like a little fake account just so I can get used to it and I don't really get the process.

When you reply to someone's tweet, what exactly do you reply for? like if they are asking a questoin? or if you wanna comment?

what are lists?

and for example, im following chad ochocinco (nfl playa), he tweets about someone and for example, it says "#Jake".. wats the # for?

thanks!!!!

Retweeting: Retweeting is when you think someone's "tweet" is funny/clever/inspiring, you want to show it to your followers as well.

@: @ allows you to tweet to specific people. For example, since you follower Chad Ochocinco, you'd put @ChadOchocinco to directly tweet to him.

Lists: Lists are where you can put multiple people in a list. For example, you want to make an NFL list. You put "NFL" as the list name, then you can put NFL players into that list.

#: # allows you to hashtag something.

Replies: Replies can be answering a question or commenting on something someone else tweeted.
