Is there a way I can find my family from a different country? - ©♥♥© - 11-09-2012 08:50 PM

I was born in South Korea when my dad was over there in the army. He came back here with my sister and I and my mother stayed there. We talked while we were living here, but we lost contact a while ago. I really want to find her and I was wondering what the best way to go about this would be. Please help! Thanks!

It shouldn't be a problem if you know the surname and state were he lived. Why don't you try first with Facebook? Check the names and send messages to those who have that name.

Do you have a copy of your birth certificate? A passport? Should have mother's maiden name and where she was born. Contact the South Korean Embassy or Consulate office near you or the one in Washington D.C. to see if they can help or tell you how you can locate mother's and her family.
