My facebook has deleted messages by itself and my girlfriend thinks im hiding things from her. I don't know how to explain this at all.

After about 9 months, facebook will automatically delete the messages. This has happened to me but there is an option to stop this in your settings.. Just tell her its facebooks settings not you.
