Can you picture yourself on facebook back in your early marriage 10-15 years ago? - Wisen Smart - 11-09-2012 08:51 PM

This question is for the older crowd married 10 or more years. Do you really think it would have been something of interest to you back then? I can't possibly picture myself getting in front of a computer to chat on facebook after dinner while my husband is on another computer. We were always so close, watching movies, making love, going for walks, etc.....

What do you think- Younger viewers are welcome to answer also.

Im on computers all day long and have been for years. I rarely want to even touch a computer once I get home....

That hasnt changed over the past 12 years.

honestly, i think your version of life sounds divine!! i am 28 and have been in a relationship for 6 years. and it often feels like it revolves around the internet and/or electronics! it makes life difficult!

Well, my husband and I don't chat with each other via Facebook or any other site. We either talk face to face or on the phone.

I am 26- My husband is 30. Neither one of us have a Face book or MySpace account and never will. They cause to much drama for so many people. I don't care to "re-connect" with people in high school and the people i know now, if i want to talk or make plans, i will pick up the phone.

We've been together 18 years. Married for 12. The internet would have been nice back then. Much easier to plan the wedding and communicate with people and do research. Can't really comment how it might have changed our relationship. We were so busy back then. Happy hours, traveling, going to the beach etc. I don't think we would have cared much. Now we are 38 and don't happy hour as often. Facebook is a great way to stay in touch with friends. I usually do it on my phone when I'm bored or waiting for something like at the doctors office etc. I don't spend tons of time online once my family is around. They are people and are more important.

I am not even on facebook now, believe it or not. Can't say I have any desire to.

I Only go on YA, and that is only when i am in my office working. The rest of the time I am with my family.
