It won't make you really closer, only superficially - nothing beats the real thing. You can become known to them through commenting and status updates etc but I wouldn't give up on reality..

and you talk to them.

Don't bug them. Just put up more personal things about yourself on your page. Send things to the people you do know well.

Well first add people and message them and tell them they look nice and then they will commment back and dont go overboard on writing to much then people will add u and hang out with u
