You will need to make your Yahoo profile visible for a picture to show. You can change the settings on this link
http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/
Then on your profile page hover your cursor over your current picture & select Change Picture. You should have an option to upload or choose one from Facebook or Twitter (if you use them)
Yahoo is having trouble for many users & not showing the upload option or displaying them when you have saved them. You will need to try again later if that happens.
