Every time i get on twitter someone tells me that they sent me a message but i have to go on their profile to see the message that they sent me. How do i get that message they sent me on my profile? Im talking about the @Tweets not the private messages. HELP!

right underneath your name, followers, etc and about the trending topics (you know on the sidebar?) there is a section labeled "@yourusername" and it contains every tweet that you are mentioned in (ie @replied)
it is right above direct messages.
is that what you mean?
