Hi Y!A,

I have a little brother that keeps using my Laptop to go on Facebook...
I don't use the site myself and I would like to know is there anyway I can block access to http://www.facebook.com on my computer.

Thanks!

If you have a full anti virus protection just block the facebook http from there and also any other sites you may wish to block too, I did is using the AVG anti virus protection

You can try the tactic of editing the HOSTS file in Windows to block any site, including Facebook.

See here for instructions on how to do it:-

Alternatively you can use filtering software where you can block whole swathes of websites. K9 Web Protection is a good offering and is very effective. It is also free.
