I really want to close my account as i dont agree with everything that is going on at the moment but dont know how to. Any tips? Is it possible to do it?

I closed my facebook account the other day. It was getting too impersonal and everyone knew my business. You go to "edit my account" and there is an option in there which allows to you close the account. Not sure about my space but its probably the same.

What's going on.. seriously.. what's the matter with both sites? I don't use them much but I'm interested anyway..

email the site operators and request the accounts to be closed or as in other answer and edit account.
if you have saved the confirmation email received when opened account or confirmed password there is an option there to remove account(good luck)
