How do you fix the internet for Linux Ubuntu? - Tanner - 11-09-2012 09:09 PM
My internet is not letting me open up any sites that have a login like facebook, hotmail, myspace. Once the site opens the internet immediately closes out as if the 'x' button was clicked. How can I fix this problem? I can't open mozilla firefox in general and on seamonkey, it closes out on these types of sites.

It seems like you have a problem in your web browser application.
I find facebook works best with firefox.
You could try updating your distribution, reinstalling or installing a new one.
If you can find an irc channel, or the support forums for your specific distribution you should have better luck.
