My friend says this all the time and writes it on everything; its so god damn annoying!
I know what the hashtag is, just not the "hugswag".
Okay sorry maybe I`m not making myself clear enough. I understand what you are saying, I am asking what "hugswag" itself is suppose to mean.

In twitter # (hashtag) is used to find out all the related post about the word next to hashtag. For example when someone puts #hugswag it will be colored in blue and if you click on it you'll find all the posts related to hugswag.
