How do I delete my profile off of yahoo answers that has shown up on the Internet? What is Pulse? - Dam - 11-09-2012 09:09 PM

For example: Go to your Profile Page (now called Pulse).

On My Activity click Edit My Preferences. Click Privacy and Communication. Scroll down and click Don't share my updates. Click Submit. Also on the mail screen click Options. Then at the top of the list uncheck Enable updates, upper left click Save Changes.
Can't delete it but you can make it private. Yahoo is trying to be like twitter and facebook. It used to be profile, now it's pulse.

It is not possible to delete your profile in Yahoo! Pulse, but you can hide it so that no one can see your information.
Here's how:
1. On Yahoo! Pulse, click "Settings" located at the upper-right side of the page.
2. Under "Privacy", Click Manage privacy settings.
3. On the new window, check the box next to “Hide my profile”.
4.Click Save.

Visitors to your Pulse page will see a gray face, your display name, and a message stating that you’ve hidden your profile. People, including your connections, won’t be able to search for you, contact you through Yahoo! Pulse, or invite you to connect.
Also, a link to your Pulse page in your Answers activity page (it says "View Profile") will disappear.
