I updated to the newest yahoo im, and linked it to my facebook account. Is there a way to stop the pop up notifications for certain contacts, or is it all or nothing? I want to be notified when certain users are online, but not all.

it is ALL or NOTHING. you can not set to be notified for particular persons only.
