Facebook is about photos, videos, and status
Mostly pictures!
But twitter is all about writing your thoughts an hashtags
For me i prefer twitter although it's hard to get it at first

Facebook is good for entertainment, fun etc, while Twitter is mostly used for business purpose.

I say facebook on a personal level and twitter on a more business level (although twitter can be used for both and is)
