What would you do if your brother did not believe in God? - NY Lady - 11-09-2012 09:28 PM
First let me say that my brother and I are best friends, and have a good relationship.
I say something on his facebook a few days ago that said that he did not believe in miracles or God. We were raised catholics and it really hurt me to see that. I sent him a message about it but as of yet he has not replied. I was wondering that if indeed it turned out to be true...what can I do?

EDIT: it sounds like he is a person that you respect. Perhaps you might consider that he could be correct?

Accept him for who he is. Fighting will only alienate him.

Just let him come to his own understanding. It's his choice what he believes in.

Provide evidence your religion is correct.
What's that? You have none? Well, then, you have no reason to believe in it, either.

Im catholic and I know the church says to accept other religions. It wouldn't bother me one bit.
But then again my avatar's a pentagram........
