What would you do if your brother did not believe in God? - NY Lady - 11-09-2012 09:28 PM First let me say that my brother and I are best friends, and have a good relationship. I say something on his facebook a few days ago that said that he did not believe in miracles or God. We were raised catholics and it really hurt me to see that. I sent him a message about it but as of yet he has not replied. I was wondering that if indeed it turned out to be true...what can I do? - Aria - 11-09-2012 09:37 PM Congratulate him on finally coming to his senses!! - Yooper - 11-09-2012 09:37 PM congratulate him! EDIT: it sounds like he is a person that you respect. Perhaps you might consider that he could be correct? - Brian - 11-09-2012 09:37 PM highfive him. Ask him how you can achieve rational thought as well? - Grain - 11-09-2012 09:37 PM Accept him for who he is. Fighting will only alienate him. If you think it helps, pray for him every day. - jovelectri01 - 11-09-2012 09:37 PM u just have to accept it! - Luckyname174 - 11-09-2012 09:37 PM Nthoing you can do - priestessyemaya - 11-09-2012 09:37 PM Just let him come to his own understanding. It's his choice what he believes in. - Dreamstuff Entity - 11-09-2012 09:37 PM Provide evidence your religion is correct. What's that? You have none? Well, then, you have no reason to believe in it, either. - Modulistic Terror - 11-09-2012 09:37 PM Im catholic and I know the church says to accept other religions. It wouldn't bother me one bit. But then again my avatar's a pentagram........ |
