How can I find a long lost relative if they have gotten married and moved far from their home town? - saturdaymornings - 11-09-2012 09:32 PM

I know this sounds basically impossible, but is there anyway I could find marriage records online or something?

Why don't you try ancestry.com? You do have to pay for it though. Good Luck!(:

You could post the maiden name, marriage date and marriage place, then hope
1) The county in question sold data to Ancestry.com
2) The relative is on it
3) Someone who subscribes sees it and responds.

There aren't any free marriage records to speak of for people who might still be alive. There are millions of them from the 1800's and earlier.

You could try facebook, if you know what year he/she graduated and the name of the high school. 105 of 400 possible people from my class - all geezers now - are on FB. It isn't just for kids.
