I had listed some old friends as family members but we are not hanging out anymore. I want to delete them, but I don't want them to see it, since I don't want them to think I am mad at them or something. Will they be sent a notification which informs them that I deleted them?
I just want to delete them from my family list, not from my friends. Just wanted to make that clear.

No they just can't message u or go on your page to see your wall

you can block them
they wont receive anything but if you just delete them they might thing off you and search for you and theyll find out you deleted them
but if you block them there isnt a way theyll find out unless you unblock them
