1. Change your name and picture to that of a famous person but do not pretend to be them. You will get more followers.
2. Follow lots of people, wait for them to follow you back and if you don't want their stuff clogging up your news feed then just unfollow them a while later.
May be a bit sneaky, but it does work. Hope this helped. (:

Okay anyway, its the same as instagram, all you do is do shoutouts, say you "follow for follow" do all the "retweet for a follow" its pretty basic

It's not hard to get twitter followers, even without tools, if you know where to advertise your page. Take a look at this tutorial:
