Is it awkward to remove a comment on Facebook? - B3 - 11-09-2012 09:37 PM

A close friend of mine is a girl I like. I usually don't like commenting on Facebook because I don't like interacting that way. I prefer in-person conversations. But I saw a picture of her being tipsy at a bachelorette party and I wrote as a comment "lol I am sad I wasn't there." I think she was online and I decided to remove it after two minutes. Would that be awkward at all?

Haha well if she saw the comment, and then saw that you removed it afterwards it may be.
But it's just facebook, so i'm sure that she'll forget about it in like a day. That's what always happens.

Meh, she probably won't read too much into, and besides facebook has errors all the time, so she'll probably think that she got confused or it just deleted itself.

It's only facebook, so don't worry. If she asks you in person, just tell her the truth "I just changed my mind about the comment, so removed it Smile". For extra brownie points, say you thought it might offend her.
