Not really. Twitter is fine, but it is practically repetitively making Facebook posts.
The way Twitter works is you pick certain people you want to follow, and some people will follow you. You can make a post/tweet, and you can even link your tweets to your Facebook status.
The downside is Twitter only allows 140 characters (including spaces, symbols, numbers and hashtags). That's about 1/10 of what Facebook allows.
