I do mean two different Yahoo! avatars, both created at avatars.yahoo.com
I am not referring to any image loaded as a picture, or patched through from Facebook or Twitter.
Please email me if you would like links to a few accounts illustrating this scenario.

they probably added one as there profile picture on Yahoo Answers and Added the other one on there pulse profile you can have 2 different pictures Pulse and Yahoo answers are 2 different things on yahoo

They do not have their YA linked to their Profile. Once you make this link, you can not go back and the avatars will always be the same. I believe your YA account had to exist before they switched to Profile to have this ability.
