how to search down a relative? - Monstah - 11-09-2012 09:43 PM Please help I want to find my dads wife. A free website would be perfect. With full information. - Veronica Alicia - 11-09-2012 09:51 PM You don't say which Country! Search sites vary - in the UK, you could try http://www.411.com You could try social networking sites, like Facebook and Twitter. You could see if she is registered on Friends Reunited or Lost Cousins. I found my own home e-mail address on http://www.123people.com (scarey!) You could advertise on http://www.missing-you.com In the UK, I would check an INFO disc, aka the Electoral Roll (providing you aren't looking for a Mary Smith!!) - I'm the only person on there with my combination of first and last names, so easy to find. You could try a letter in the newspaper local to the area in which lives/lived (send it to The Readeers' Letters Column) The Salvation Army will search for lost relatives - www2.salvationarmy.org.uk/family (there is a charge) - Maxi - 11-09-2012 09:51 PM http://familytimeline.webs.com/adoptionlivingrelations.htm lots of links on here to look for living people |
