I want to add my mom as my mom on facebook..I have no idea how.

Go to your profile. Edit your information. Go to relationships. Near the bottom, click add a new family member. Type in the person's name, and select which relationship (Daughter, son, mother, father, sister, or brother) and then save your settings.
