How is the quality of traffic on Facebook?

Facebook may not directly affect your traffic to your website; however, Facebook does allow you to connect with your customers. It is a quick and easy form direct marketing. Anytime you add something to your business, let your customers know about it on Facebook.

My company did a social media project for a chain of music stores in California. The main store was planning to host a series of acoustic concerts in their parking lot. We created a Facebook and MySpace account for the store and sent links and information about the event, the performers, and new specials going on in the store. The music store had over 5000 friends by the end of the summer and every concert was sold out.

Do some research on social media, see if your customers would benefit from posting information on Facebook.
