There is a girl that I want to be friends with on Facebook, however, I don't want to add her as it will seem weird. We got 10 friends in common. Is there anything I can do that will make her add me? And she doesn't know me at all. We have one friend who is really close with me and with her. I don't want to ask her to put a word in for me or anything, and I don't want to random add her either.

Just add her! In the little thing where you can write an email with your request you could always write something just to say hello, introduce yourself and ask her a question or something. She will probably like having a new friend just as much as you will!
