Now that Twitter, Facebook and MySpace have been "exposed", what's your take on it? - ........... - 11-09-2012 09:52 PM

The US government through a "collaborative effort" involving the FBI and the CIA (as well as Homeland Security) have been the true "sponsors" of these "social networking" sites.........After all, what better way to invade people's privacy and provide their pictures and even telling WHAT they're doing every second of the day.

So, everybody have basically "given the government" everything it's been needing to collect information in a covert way. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........

What's your take on this one??
You're right, Libby, with actually NO EFFORT. All that info is freely given by the [whatever social networking site they're on] poster.....Go figure.........

Is that green van still following me?

No surprise there. I don't use social networking sites. Ridiculous waste of time.

well i'm just a boring average person.. if they want to stalk me then hey there goes their high for the day

I'm sure if they were worried about what I was doing, they would either be laughing or asleep, so who cares.

My take is you`ve been taking too many paranoid pills. You think the US departments really give a shite about me who`s not even residing in the States?

I'm not doing anything sneaky and I'm sure they track everything you do from credit cards and who knows what else, so I don't really care. I don't have the time to stress about the government being interested in me. As long as they don't want me for anything they can snoop around wherever they want. If they go to far I have a back up escape country.

I know that people are morons who think anything is private anymore and that with very little effort, what you do on facebook can be seen by anyone.
Oh and Twitter...don't even get me started on that one
I would think this would be the governments perfect way of keeping track of people with very little effort
