I went to a concert last night, I wanted to put the pictures online (facebook). Is this illegal?

I'm not sure if it is or not but my brother is always putting up pics of the concerts he goes to and has never been reported. Plenty of people also put concert footage on youtube without any problems.
Go ahead and put them up if you want to.
