Can my mom close my facebook account without a password? - Jumble Mcjesus - 11-09-2012 09:55 PM

My mom causes many problems when it comes to facebook. Constantly asking who my friends are, making fun of my pictures, amount of friends, etc. I finally took her off my friends list and almost instantly i got a message saying the following:I will close your account as of today if you do not make me your friend again TODAY. She doesn't have my password or anything. I was just wondering if she could somehow convince some idiot over phone or computer that i'm her son and that she wants to close my account.

i really doubt that. There is no way to do that. She can report you to facebook but anyone can do that to anyone but that does not mean they will close your account automatically unless they see that you have a serious breach of the rules

I don't think that she can.

No she cannot, unless she somehow recovers your password through some complex process that not even I know about. Don't worry, moms always say that kind of stuff. She wont do it because she probably doesn't know how to.

Not possible. Unless she has access to your hotmail and can retrieve your password. I'd change the password on your Facebook and Hotmail just incase.

But anyway, she is only threatening you and sounds like a lunatic... Trust me. I have an Auntie in my family and she is crazy!!!

If I don't add her to Facebook she says to my cousin, "He hates you. He doesn't like you" she always twists peoples words and tries her best to get what she wants. She even makes jokes about people in wheel chairs when her own child is in one thinking that she'll grow to accept the jokes growing up...

Not unless you have a really stupidly obvious secret question

i dont think anyone can close an account without a password.

The only way she can do that is if you give her your password. Make sure you do NOT have your password saved on the computer anywhere. and make sure she can not get into your emails especially the one registered with facebook, she can reset your password with it.. and dont give her any information that could help her crack into your email or facebook, not even a small hint.

Well.. Your under age and she could say she doesn't approve of you having one. My friends mom done it to her. Plus she got computer expert to come over and find it on the computer so how.. So its possible.. if she really wants to do it she will shes your mom

You can't close your Facebook account without a password for a security reason. Facebook doesn't want other people to close another people's accounts.
