I am an all-star cheerleader and we will have a new girl on the team---she cheered here last year but now she started in the middle of the season----I never met her before but I talked to her through Facebook and she seems really nice--how can I get to the point with her to be a really close friend of mine?? And everyone on my team has a really close friend besides me---so help me out?? Please? I just want a close friend!!

Just be nice and friendly to her and I am sure you could end up as best friends

I really dont think you can plan to have a close friend. You meet lots of people and you get on with some better than others, some remain casual friends and others you will know for the rest of your life.
