Clear your history - via the Settings window.

Personally though I would do what your mom says. Parents givith and parents taketh away.

In Internet Explorer, go to the top of the broswer.

Tools > Internet Options... > Clear History

I forget what it is for Mozilla Firefox. Something similar though.

Tools > Options > Clear Browsing History

Good luck not getting caught looking at porn, kiddo.

You can delete your cookies when you exit the browser. If you're using Mozilla the press CNTL+SHIFT+DEL and a dialog will come up. For IE go to the Tools menu, and click Internet Options. A dialog will come up and find the option to DELETE. This options gets rid of the cookies too. You might even find an option under properties that will allow this to be done each time you close the browser.

there should be a label at the top along with file, edit, etc...
go down and click on clear history.
or if you ahve a different internet
there may be an arrow that points down. like and icon...
click on it and it will show you the history on the side. left click on the website you want to delete and then go down to delete. hope that helps...

You can do what is said above but you're going to draw attention to the fact that you're hiding something if your internet history is empty.
What I would suggest is that you click your history button and right click and delete only those pages that you think your mom might have issue with. It sounds like she's pretty strict if she has a problem with Facebook.
