you cant disable it... im stuck with it as well... if you want you can give it a try with this tutorial here

Yes...read this article first 'http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_travel'
Try to build a time machine...if you are successfull then time travel undo whatever you did and come back...

there is no way to get rid of it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook
