...why would you want to do that? i suggest you keep them off as much as possible from predators. and besides, he wouldn't have any friends on it.. since the other parents probably don't think about this.

why would you want a facebook for your son? Isn't he a bit young to be doing that, also why would you want your son to display pictures and personal information on the Internet? There are risks you know, and as site designed for kids will be especially targeted by paedophiles.

Yuniti ( http://yuniti.com ) is a good site for people of all ages. It has no age requirement, and has lots of safety features.

It also has a guide to social networking sites for parents : http://yuniti.com/parents_guide.php

Some of the safety features include:
*allws users to hide their age (so they cannot be searched for by age)
*can hide specific aspects of your profile from specific groups of people (eg. only 'close friends' can see your pictures and/or comments, and 'friends', 'online buddies' and 'strangers' cannot).
*can rate all mail recieved, or block mail from certain senders
*all inappropriate photos must be rated as adult (only 18+ can view)

Plus it has games, IM, easy profile maker, etc.

It's a really good site all round.

Kids that little should be with their friends out in the sunshine, not in a plastic box.
