Does the school really have a right to get involved with someone's personal life ? - AnthonYx- - 11-09-2012 10:26 PM

My brother's school just made an announcement saying that all children who are under 12 will have their Facebook deleted by the school.
My brother just made one and he's pissed.
Does the school really have a right to go in and just delete his Facebook ?

There is no way for them to do that unless he gives them the password. That's between him and his parents not the school.

i dont believe it was right for a school to interfere.

sometimes a school can say things that they dont mean, my last primary school threatened to make us drink holy water cause a teacher was missing 200 dollars from her purse and she said a student might have taken it. (based on suspicion, not proof)

i was ready to fight tooth and nail if they would do so but they didnt.
