Ok so my friend's brother hacked the facebook account of a person who hates his sister and didn't tell her he did it, and since the person hates his sister, she would immediately assume that the sister did it and now she's afraid that the person will retaliate. Is it possible to hack a hotmail account without knowing the password?

it is not possible. any hack need pass to loginto the account.
keylogger is the only easy way to hack account password.

That's possible, if someone install some spy software on the computer, everything will be monitored with knowing.
