Character brags about having a real girlfriend through facebook but when they meet face to face it's awkward for them and have nothing to say so they just end up saying, "see you on facebook".

The only episode I can think of that sounds remotely similar is "Over Logging"(S12:E6).
The internet is gone. Stan's family moves to California in search of internet. Stan's sister meets her online boyfriend, but when they meet, they have nothing to say.
