I always get this email called Tagged. Is it safe for me to open it? - I suck at usernames - 11-09-2012 10:31 PM

Jenny has invited you to become friends. I know Jenny. She is my relative. But this email still looks unreliable.

Tagged is a service online similar to friendster, facebook, myspace. As long as you are directed to a URL starting with http://www.tagged.com or EXTREMELY similar (may have a different subdomain like login.tagged.com or something) you can rest assure it is a legit website. Always use caution when visiting links from emails and make sure to not give any sensative information without the URL saying "https://" in the beginning. The S is for a secure server.

I would suggest signing up by going directly to tagged.com than through your email.

Tagged is a website along the same lines of Myspace and Facebook accept you "tag" people with labels, names, and styles that you think apply to them... To me, it's kind of lame. It's just as unsafe as Myspace and Facebook if used incorrectly. You should just spam it if you don't want to create an account with them. (Sorry, Jenny.) =P
