My girlfriend and I have been together for 3 years and 2 months and she just broke up with me for a guy she met on facebook who lives in Washington. She says she's in love with him when they've never even heard each other's voice. They only talk on facebook and via texting. I feel like I've been sucker punched and Im in a storm of emotional overload. How could she do this? We truly loved each other too.

Apparently she didn't love you enough hun. I think its crazy when people think their "in love" with someone that they've never ever talked on the phone. Please get over her though, she's obviously made a huge mistake and you shouldn't keep holding on to her.

aww please dont be hurt over a girl who chose to break up with you over some internet guy that she met....it just means she was not worth it the whole time, move on. she will eventually regret it someday...i find that really stupid of her.

sucks bro, but this is what you do. If you really love her, plead your case and do your best to get her back. If she continues to reject you then cut off all communication and make her live with her choice.
Do whatever it takes to live your life without her as a crutch. Get back in the game and keep your chin up.
if its meant to be its meant to be, not much you can do to make someone love you or stay with you if they are interested in moving on.

she's just searching for a way to break up with you without answering any questions
therefore she just made you hate her so you dont even ask her anything
